Google Ads, landing pages and SEO for Austin businesses
Leander, Kyle and Hutto are growing faster than Austin itself, I-35 splits the metro, and demand swings with cedar season, spring hail and summer heat.
We work with Austin businesses remotely from Dallas, in the same time zone as you.

A 25-mile circle from Round Rock reaches South Austin on a map. A tech on I-35 at 5 p.m. doesn’t.
Fast-growing suburbs, I-35 traffic and Spanish search
The suburbs are growing faster than Austin
Georgetown is past 100,000 people, and recent arrivals in Leander and Kyle choose from search and social, not referrals.
Details
Austin passed one million residents in the Census Bureau’s 2025 estimate, but the suburbs around it are growing faster. Georgetown is now past 100,000 people, and Leander and Kyle have ranked among the fastest-growing cities in the country. A lot of the people searching for a dentist, an AC company or a lawyer in those suburbs moved there recently, have no referral to fall back on, and choose from whatever search and social put in front of them.
I-35 traffic, not miles, sets your service area
The I-35 rebuild is expected to run into the early 2030s, so target the ZIP codes you serve by drive time, not a radius.
Details
I-35 splits the metro, and its rebuild through central Austin is expected to run into the early 2030s. A 25-mile circle around a shop in Round Rock reaches South Austin on a map, but a technician on I-35 at 5 p.m. doesn’t. Targeting should follow the ZIP codes you serve and how long it takes to reach them, not a radius picked once and forgotten.
Spanish searches deserve their own ads and page
Over a quarter of households in northeast and southeast Austin speak Spanish at home. If you take Spanish calls, run Spanish ads.
Details
About a third of Austin residents are Hispanic, and in northeast and southeast Austin more than a quarter of households speak Spanish at home. If your team takes calls in Spanish, those searches deserve their own ads and their own page instead of an English page they bounce off.
Industries that matter in Austin
Each finds and picks a business a little differently here.
HVAC and plumbing
HVAC and plumbing pageAustin averages about 30 days a year at 100 degrees or more, and Texas requires your license number in ads.
Details
Austin averages about 30 days a year at or above 100 degrees, most of them in July and August. A no-cool call is decided by phone in minutes, so call ads, after-hours scheduling and a page that loads fast on a phone matter more here than in a mild market. Texas requires the license number in advertising that solicits HVAC or plumbing work, so it goes in the ad and on the landing page.
Roofing and storm repair
Roofing pageSpring hail, no state roofing license and a Texas ban on deductible offers shape every storm page.
Details
Spring is Central Texas’s main hail season, roughly March through May. Texas law bars contractors from offering to waive, rebate or absorb an insurance deductible, and from advertising that they’ll handle the claim as a public adjuster, and the state treats a website as advertising. Texas has no state roofing license, so the proof on a storm page has to come from insurance, permits, warranties and reviews.
Dental and allergy care
Dental practices pageCedar fever peaks mid-January. Texas general dentists who advertise orthodontics must add “General Dentist.”
Details
Cedar fever, from Ashe juniper pollen, runs roughly December through February with a peak in mid-January, and the trees are densest west of I-35. That window matters for allergy, ENT and urgent care budgets. For dentists, Texas requires a general dentist who names specialty services such as orthodontics in an ad to put “General Dentist” right after the name, in type no smaller than the largest service listed, which shapes headlines and page layouts.
Law firms
Law firms pageDell and Tesla give employment, immigration and startup law a local audience of engineers and founders.
Details
Austin’s tech employers, from Dell in Round Rock to Tesla’s headquarters at its Travis County factory, give employment, immigration and startup law a local audience of engineers and founders, alongside the injury and family work every city has. Ads and pages should be split by practice area to match. Since most Texas lawyer ads must be filed with the State Bar, a small set of well-tested ads and landing pages beats dozens of variants rotated each week.
Short-term rentals and hospitality
Rentals and hospitality pageAustin bars ads for unlicensed short-term rentals. SXSW, ACL Fest and Formula 1 need budgets set weeks ahead.
Details
Austin requires a city license for any home rented for less than 30 consecutive days, bars advertising an unlicensed one, and since July 1, 2026 asks booking platforms to remove unlicensed listings. SXSW in March, ACL Fest over two October weekends and the Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas in October bring large out-of-town crowds, so direct-booking ads need the license shown and budgets set weeks ahead.
When demand moves in Austin
Budgets and campaigns change before each swing, not after the leads dry up.
Campaign calendar
When budgets and campaigns change
December to February
Cedar fever peaks in January. Have allergy and urgent care ads ready by early December.
Details
Cedar fever season, peaking in January. It’s the window allergy, ENT, urgent care and air filtration businesses plan around, so creative and budgets should be ready by early December, not after the first bad pollen week.
March to May
Hail season. Storm campaigns are built ahead and switched on by ZIP code after a hit.
Details
Hail season. Roofing, gutter, window and auto glass demand follows individual storms, so storm campaigns are built ahead of time and switched on by ZIP code after a hit.
June to September
Triple-digit heat, worst in July and August. Phone and after-hours coverage come first.
Details
Triple-digit heat, heaviest in July and August. AC repair is the urgent call of the year, so phone handling and after-hours coverage matter more than click volume.
March and October
SXSW in March, ACL Fest and Formula 1 in October. Rentals and venues set budgets early.
Details
SXSW in March, then ACL Fest and the Formula 1 race in October. Short-term rentals, restaurants and venues need budgets in place early; service businesses in central Austin plan around slower drive times.
What each service looks like in Austin
Who the ads reach, what the pages say and where you show up in search.
Google Ads
Zip code targeting set by drive times on I-35 and US 183, and budgets moved ahead of hail, heat and cedar season.
How we run Google AdsDetails
Locations set by the ZIP codes you serve and the drive times on I-35 and US 183, license numbers in the ad assets for HVAC and plumbing, separate Spanish ad groups where you take Spanish calls, and budgets moved ahead of hail, heat and cedar season instead of after them.
Meta ads
Reach new households in Leander, Kyle and Hutto before they search, timed to the first 100-degree week or cedar season.
How we run Meta adsDetails
Austin’s suburbs keep adding households that don’t have a dentist, an AC company or a lawyer yet. Meta ads reach them in places like Leander, Kyle and Hutto before they search, with creative timed to the first 100-degree week or the start of cedar season.
Conversion rate optimization
Booking pages with same-day slots live before the mid-January cedar peak, and storm pages that skip deductible offers.
How we do conversion workDetails
For allergy, ENT and urgent care clinics, a booking page with same-day slots up front, live before the cedar peak in mid-January. For roofers, storm pages that win the inspection request without promising to cover a deductible. Call and form tracking then shows which version books more work.
Website design
Pages for the suburbs you cover, the city license on rental booking sites, and a law firm homepage that stays stable.
How we design websitesDetails
Service area pages for the Austin suburbs you actually cover, a short-term rental license shown on direct-booking sites, and a law firm homepage stable enough that it isn’t a new State Bar filing every month.
SEO
Searches like “ac repair Round Rock” are won with a full Business Profile and a page for each place you serve.
How we do SEODetails
Searches like “ac repair Round Rock” or “dentist Leander” are won with a complete Google Business Profile and a real page for each place you serve. Content follows Austin’s calendar too: cedar season, hail, heat and event weeks.

Questions about working with us in Austin
Ask us anything else at [email protected]. A founder replies within one business day.
Should I target Round Rock and Georgetown separately from Austin?
If you serve them, usually yes. Both are their own cities in Williamson County, north of Austin along I-35, and someone searching “plumber Georgetown” should land on a page that names Georgetown. Give each its own ad group and landing page, and check drive times first: from a shop in South Austin, I-35 traffic can put a Georgetown job farther away than the map suggests.
Should my AC company mention the Austin Energy rebate?
If you’re one of its participating contractors, yes, on your replacement pages. Austin Energy pays rebates on qualifying AC and heat pump replacements for its electric customers, installed by a participating contractor, when the old system is at least 10 years old. It serves Austin and nearby parts of Travis County, not most of the suburbs, so the rebate belongs only on ads and pages for the areas it covers.
Does my HVAC or plumbing ad need my license number?
In Texas, yes. State rules require advertising that solicits air conditioning or plumbing work to include the license number, with narrow exceptions such as signs at your business location. We put it in the ad assets and on the landing page, and your licensing agency has the final word on your situation.
What can’t a roofing ad say after a hail storm?
Texas law bars contractors from offering to waive, rebate or absorb a homeowner’s insurance deductible, and from advertising that they’ll negotiate or handle the claim as a public adjuster. Your website counts as advertising too. Storm pages should sell the inspection, your workmanship and your warranty instead.
Should I change my ads during SXSW, ACL Fest or the Formula 1 race?
It depends on what you sell. Short-term rentals, restaurants and venues should have budgets and pages ready weeks ahead. A home service business in central Austin may want a tighter service area those weeks, because jobs take longer to reach.
How is the work priced?
Ongoing work is one flat monthly fee, never a percentage of your ad spend, and it runs month to month. Website builds get a fixed quote in writing. After your audit, a written proposal with your fee in dollars follows within 2 business days of asking. How our pricing works.
