Google Ads management for small businesses
We run your Google Ads so more of the budget turns into inquiries, and we look after the tracking that counts each lead and the page the ads send people to. Google Ads management is the ongoing work of setting up, running and improving an account so the money spent on clicks turns into customers.

Leads per week Counted once
Tracking and the page come first
Google’s bidding optimizes toward whatever you tell it is a conversion. If a form submit and a thank-you page view both count, every lead is counted twice and the system learns from bad data. If calls aren’t tracked at all, it learns that your best customers don’t exist.
The landing page sets the other half of the math. The same budget, sent to a page that loads in under three seconds and asks four questions, not nine, produces more inquiries without a single extra click. So the first month goes to tracking and the page, and the budget conversation comes after.
What’s in Google Ads management
Tracking comes first, because Google’s bidding learns from whatever you tell it to count. The rest is the weekly and monthly work of running the account.
- Conversion tracking
- Forms and calls counted once, with primary and secondary actions set correctly. GA4 key events, enhanced conversions for leads, call tracking, and offline import of qualified leads from your CRM or a shared sheet.
- Structure
- Campaigns split by service and intent, a deliberate match-type strategy, shared negative lists, and brand kept separate from non-brand.
- Search terms, every week
- We read the actual searches your ads showed for and add negatives, so you stop paying for job seekers, DIY searches and services you don’t offer.
- Settings
- Location targeting set to people in your area, Search Partners and Display expansion reviewed, schedule and devices set, auto-applied recommendations off.
- Ads and assets
- Responsive search ads written to match the landing page, plus sitelinks, callouts, call assets and structured snippets.
- Bidding
- Maximize conversions first, target CPA once the account records consistent conversion volume, then bidding toward qualified leads once your CRM feeds results back. Every change is logged with its reason.
- Landing pages
- One page per intent, built with our conversion and website work, so the ad’s promise is the first thing the visitor reads.
- Reporting
- A weekly five-line update, and a monthly recorded review of leads, cost per lead, qualified leads, what changed and what’s next.

Can’t Performance Max do this?
Performance Max, Smart campaigns and AI tools are good at spending a budget. What they can’t do is check that the conversions they optimize toward are real customers, write a page that matches the ad, or notice that a third of your leads are spam.
We use Performance Max when an account has enough conversion data and the guardrails to steer it: brand exclusions, conversion-quality signals and reviewed URL expansion. Without those, automation optimizes toward whatever is cheapest to count.
Where Google Ads fits in
A Google Ads problem can start outside the account: on the page, in the form or in the tracking. These are the services next to it on the path.
Conversion rate optimization
If the ad works but the page doesn’t, a bigger budget buys more of the same leak.

Flat-fee Google Ads management
We charge a flat monthly fee to manage your Google Ads, never a percentage of what you spend. A flat fee isn’t always cheaper at small budgets. What it changes is the incentive: we earn the same whether your spend goes up or not.
You get your number in writing after the free audit. It runs month to month, with no 6- or 12-month contract.
How our flat monthly fee worksWhat sets the fee
- How many accounts and campaigns we run
- How complex those campaigns are
- How many landing pages we build or change each month
What never sets it
Your ad spend. You pay Google directly for clicks, and none of that money is our fee.
Who it’s for, and who it isn’t
If Google Ads isn’t the right move for you yet, the free audit will say so, and tell you what to fix first.
Usually a good fit
- A lead or a sale is worth enough to you to pay for clicks.
- You run an online store and want Shopping and search campaigns judged on sales, not clicks.
- You already run Google Ads and aren’t sure it works.
- You’re ready to fund one well-built campaign properly.
Usually not a fit
- You want a guaranteed number of leads.
- You want ads run with no say over the page or the tracking.
- You can’t reply to new inquiries within a business day.
- Your budget is too small to produce data. The audit will tell you to fix the site or SEO first.
What we won’t do in Google Ads
These apply to every account and project we take on, whatever the budget. They sit alongside the standards we hold across the studio.
Read our standards- Turn on auto-applied recommendations.
- Leave Display expansion on in your Search campaigns.
- Count a page view as a conversion.
- Recommend a bigger budget before tracking and the page are fixed.
- Create your account inside our manager account with us as the owner.

What does a Google Ads manager do each week?
Read the search terms and add negatives, check that conversions are recording, adjust bids and budgets against cost per lead, test new ad copy, and check that the landing page still matches each ad. You get a five-line summary of all of it every week.
Will you work with my existing account or start over?
Your existing account. Its history is valuable. We restructure only where the data says a campaign is set up in a way that wastes money.
Do you need access to my account?
Not for the free audit. For ongoing management, yes: you add us as users on your account, which stays in your name.
How long before I can tell whether it’s working?
Tracking and waste fixes show within the first two to four weeks. Bidding needs consistent conversion data, so judge cost per lead over roughly 60 to 90 days, not week to week.
What do you need from me each month?
Which leads turned into real customers, approval of landing page changes, and replies to new inquiries within a business day.
